Poison Prevention: Keeping Our Kids Safe


“An estimated 85,000 children younger than 5 are unintentionally poisoned each year in the U.S.” according to this week’s OnSafety blog

In honor of National Poison Prevention Week, Safeware wants to send out a reminder about this kind of safety. OnSafety tells us that “about 76 percent of unintentional poisonings occur in the home.” 

Life calls for a slew of medicines, laundry detergents, cleaners and chemicals, but it is highly important that they stay locked up! It is up to us to keep dangerous items out of reach.
